Dung Quat Oil Refinery resumes its operation

After crude oil had been loaded into the crude oil distillation unit (CDU), the Dung Quat Oil Refinery officially resumed its operation on January 14 after over 20 days of a production pause with the aim of solving a technical problem.

It is expected that the CDU will have operated at its full capacity by January 19.

In 2009, although the Dung Quat Oil Refinery operated in the trial run period, but it processed over 2 million of tonnes of crude oil and manufactured 1.5 million tonnes of assorted products and sold 1.4 million of tonnes of its products of quality to the market, worth around VND 21.5 trillion.
