Duc Long Gia Lai upgrades national highway No 14

Duc Long Gia Lai Group Joint Stock Co (DLGL) officially held the groundbreaking ceremony for upgrading National Highway No 14 from Km887 to Dong Xoai Town (Km962) in Binh Phuoc province. The project was conducted by Duc Long Gia Lai Group as the general contractor, and investors of Duc Thanh JSC and Duc Phu JSC.

The upgrading work will be conducted in a 75-kilometre road, with surface width of 21.6 metres, and designed speed of 80 kilometres per hour. The project’s investment capital was estimated at about 1.482 trillion dong.

Previously, Dak Nong province people’s committee had already approved Duc Long Gia Lai Group’s proposal of upgrading National Highway No 14 from Km817 to Km887, with total length of 57 kilometres, designed speed of 60 km/h. The project was expected to cost 1.4 trillion dong. At present, the group was in-progress of completing the administrative procedures to kick off the work in Sep 2010.
