Duc Long Gia Lai invests in Dak Sepay hydropower plant
Duc Long Gia Lai Power Development and Investment Joint Stock Co, a subsidiary of Duc Long Gia Lai Group (DLG), on May 10 got approval from People’s Committee of central highland province of Gia Lai to invest in building Dak Sepay hydropower plant in So Pai commune, Kbang Dist, Gia Lai province.
The 100 billion dong project has an estimated capacity of 3.5 MW.
As planned, the plant will be started work in August and expected to be in operational by the end of next August.
Once in operation, the plant will supply about 14 million kWh/year to the national grid.
In 2009, the company gained 567.8 billion dong of revenue and 24.7 billion dong of after tax profit.
This year, the company expects to bring the figures to 700 billion dong and 52.5 billion dong respectively with 16 percent dividend.
DLG also plans to offer 12 million shares to the strategic partners to hike chartered capital from 291 billion dong to 411 billion dong in Q2. The offering price will be decided by the director board.
The group plans to list shares on the Hochiminh Stock Exchange (STC) within this year.
