Doosan Vina eyes world No. 1 producer

The Doosan Heavy Industries Vietnam Co. (Doosan Vina) on April 12 announced its ambitious target of becoming a Number 1 manufacturer in the world.

Boasting a skilled workforce and advanced equipment, Doosan is mapping out plans to build a world-standard production complex at the Dung Quat economic zone in the central province of Quang Ngai .

Doosan Vina now operates five factories producing boilers, heat recovery steam generators as well as material handling, desalination and chemical processing equipment.

These “Made-in-Vietnam” products have been certificated by the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) and International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO). They are exported to America , Europe, Asia and the Middle East .

With an investment capital of more than 300 million USD, Doosan Vina is an affiliate of the Republic of Korea-based Doosan Group. The company officially began its operations in 2007.
