Dong Phu Rubber Co. earns 178.4b dong from share sales

Listed firm Dong Phu Rubber Joint Stock Co (DPR) reported that total 14 investors spent total 178.396 billion dong from buying its three million odd shares, representing a surplus capital of 148.396 billion dong. Thanks to this, the company’s chartered capital has risen from 400 billion dong to 430 billion dong.

The average offering price of DPR in this sale was 59,465 dong per share, equalling to 88.8 percent of the April 26 market price of 67,000 dong per share.

During the first quarter of 2010, DPR reached 156.7 billion dong in revenue, a y-o-y rise of 50 percent, 54.1 billion dong in pre-tax profit, which are expected to be 667 billion and 200.5 billion dong in the whole year.
