Domestic gold prices slump further

Domestic gold prices on August 24 dropped sharply to VND47.60 million per tael, down VND550,000 per tael compared to the previous session.

SJC gold price was listed at VND47.30-47.60 million per tael in HCM City while Than Tai SBJ gold hovered around VND47.30-47.49 million per tael.

Meanwhile, gold prices in the world market also fell to US$1.826 per ounce, from a record high of US$1.911 in the previous session. –  VOV
