The wholesale electronics prices rose by between 5%-10% from February 14 due to recent devaluation of VND, the online newspaper Tuoitre reported on February 15, citing local traders.

The retail prices will also increase in the coming promotion campaigns, excepting the prices of laptop rising as soon as Vietnam’s central bank’s devaluation of VND on February 11.

As many essential goods prices also rose sharply after the domestic currency depreciated at 9.3% , especially imported goods including gas, steel, etc. – Stoxplus.com
