Cruise ship SuperStar Virgo docks in HCM City

The Saigontourist Travel Service received 2,700 foreign tourists on the five-star SuperStar Virgo cruise ship that docked in Ho Chi Minh City on September 13.

The travellers, who come from Singapore, Malaysia and Australia, toured historical sites in HCM City, went shopping in Ben Thanh market, enjoyed a water puppetry show in the city centre, and visited the Cu Chi tunnels and My Tho city in Tien Giang province.

SuperStar Virgo is scheduled to leave HCM City at 6.30am on September 14for other Asian countries. .

In November, Saigontourist will welcome the Costa Classica cruise ship, which will follow the Ha Long-Danang-HCM City sea route.

In the first nine months of this year, Saigontourist has received 45,000 cruise ship passengers, mostly from the UK, France, Germany, Spain, Australia and Japan, said Doan Thi Thanh Tra, a representative of Saigontourist. – VOV
