Cruise ship brings 2,000 tourists

The Sai Gon Travel Service Company yesterday welcomed more than 2,000 overseas tourists and crew abroad the ship Costa Romantica.

The visitors, mostly from Italy, Spain, the UK and Germany, will explore popular tourist spots in HCM City and My Tho city in the Mekong Delta, including Ben Thanh market and Tan Thach fishing port.

Later yesterday, the ship departed for Tien Sa port in the central coastal city of Da Nang, to arrive tomorrow. From there, visits to Hoi An, My Son and Hue are planned.

Saigontourist expects to receive more than 30,000 visitors by sea, most of them from Europe, in the first five months of this year.
