Credit Agricole CIB finances 1.15tr dong for Nhon Trach 2 power plant

France-based Credit Agricole Corporate and Investment Bank, Ocean Commercial Joint Stock Bank and PetroVietnam Power Nhon Trach 2 Joint Stock Co have signed a capital arrangement and short-term credit agreement to fund 1.15 trillion dong on June 5, 2010.

Nhon Trach 2 power plant, with designed capacity of 750 MW, has been carried out as one of large power producers to solve the country’s electricity shortage in the national grid within the period of 2006-2015 under the general plan of national power development that had been approved by the prime minister in the Decision No 110/2007/QD-TTg dated July 18, 2007.
