Construction on new Quy Nhon market starts next week

Construction of Cho Lon Quy Nhon Market (or Big Market) in Quy Nhon City of the central province of Binh Dinh will start next week, according to the investor.

Construction of Cho Lon Quy Nhon Market (or Big Market) in Quy Nhon City of the central province of Binh Dinh will start next week, according to the investor.

The construction of the VND50 billion project is scheduled to start August 18 on 12,000 square meters, An Phu Thinh Development Investment Construction and Tourism JSC said.

The 650 kiosk market, which should be completed late this year, will include a main section, warehouses and restaurants. The new market will replace the old Cho Lon Quy Nhon Market, which was destroyed by fire in December 2006 with damages of VND120 billion.

An Phu Thinh early this month also started construction of a 153 hectare new urban area on islands north of the Ha Thanh River in Quy Nhon City.

The project worth nearly VND2.5 trillion is divided into three phases, the last one completing by 2018. The project will provide 3,000 apartments serving about 10,000 people. It will have a hospital, school, entertainment areas, sport centers, restaurant and marina. – Saigon Times
