Construction of largest Mekong tourist park begins on 9,4ha in Can Tho

The Song Hau-Can Tho Tourism JSC broke ground for a 9.4ha tourist park on Cai Khe Islet in Can Tho City yesterday.

Song Hau Tourist Park will include a resort, luxury hotel with 210 guestrooms, restaurants, conference hall, entertainment area and other facilities.

With a total investment of VND490 billion (US$24 million), the will be the largest in the Cuu Long (Mekong) Delta when construction is completed 42 months.

Company director Nguyen Ngoc Ha, General Director of Song Hau – Can Tho JSC, said the restaurants would be completed and brought into operation next year.

He said the tourist park would accommodate 5,500 guests and create jobs for 3,000 workers.
