Coca Cola increases investment in central Vietnam
Coca Cola has announced it would spend US$3 million to upgrade its factory in Danang City.
Ta Duy Tung, CEO of Coca Cola in Central Vietnam said the amount would be used to build a manufacturing chain for Coca Cola’s bottled water Danasi with a capacity of up to 8,000 500ml-bottle per hour.
Dasani was marketed in Vietnam last December as a high-quality and environment-friendly bottled water.
Tung said from now until 2012, Coca Cola Vietnam plans to invest more to upgrade facilities and build a new warehouse and a manufacturing chain for PET bottles in its factory in Danang to meet increasing demands in the central region. – Tuoitre
