Coc San hydropower plant kicked off

Colben Energy (Vietnam) JSC kicked off Coc San hydropower plant’s construction, the first phase of Chu Linh – Coc San hydropower project on September 30.

The 800 billion dong invested – Coc San hydropower plant has three turbines with designed capacity of 29.7 MW, yearly electricity output volume of 134 million Kw.

The work covering over 50 hectares of land has been developed in three communes: storage dam in Trung Chai (Sapa), Pine system crossing Toong Sanh, factory in Coc San (Bat Xat).

After having finishing, the plant would generate electricity in February 2013.
