Coal inventory at 6.1m tons

Till the end of April, the country’s coal inventory continued to increase to about 6.1 million tons, according to the Ministry of Industry and Trade (MoIT), of which, dust coal inventory was 3.6 million tons.
Also according to the ministry, coal consumption in Jan-Apr was estimated at 13.8 million tons, of which, domestic consumption was 10.1 million dong, up 34 percent from the same period last year and export at 3.7 million tons or 59 percent y-o-y.

The country’s clean coal output in April is estimated to reach over four million tons, up 9.8 percent from last April. Totally, in Jan-Apr, the total clean coal output reached 14.9 million tons, up 3.1 percent year on year. – Vietbiz24
