Clean water prices to rise from Jan 2011

Prices of clean water in Ho Chi Minh City will rise from 1st Jan 2011 after increasing on 1st March 2010, the online newspaper Nguoilaodong reported on December 27.

The different clean water prices will be applied for different usage levels. In details, the price will rise VND400 to VND4,400 per cubic meter with usage level of below 4 cubic meters/person/month and VND800 to VND8,300 per cubic meter with usage level of between 4-6 cubic meters/person/month.

The highest increase will be applied for the usage level of above 6 cubic meters/person/month.

The prices of clean water will raise VND500 to VND7,400 and VND1,500 per cubic meter, applying for manufacturing and service units, respectively. – Stoxplus.com
