Chung River hydropower plant to join national grid on April 30

Son Lam Co Ltd’s director, Pham Cong Nhan, said that Song Chung (Chung River) hydropower plant in the northern mountainous province of Ha Giang will officially join the national grid on April 30.

The plant located in Quang Binh district, Ha Giang province includes three generators with a total designed capacity of 19.5MW and total investment of nearly 500 billion dong invested by Son Lam Co Ltd

Once in operational, the plant will provide over 70 million kWh yearly to the national grid, contribute nearly 10 billion dong per year to the state budget and create jobs for many the locals. – Vietnam+
