Chinese-invested steel plant inaugurated in Thai Binh
Shengli Vietnam Special Steel Ltd. Co began operation on September 5 in Cau Nghin industrial zone, An Bai town, Quynh Phu district, Thai Binh province.
After over two years of construction costing US$53 million, the plant which is the largest of its kind in the northern province of Thai Binh will be able to produce 600,000 tonnes a year in the first phase.
Shengli Vietnam Special Steel Ltd. Co is wholly owned by two Chinese companies, the Shengli (Fuzhou) Group Corporation and the Guangdong Metals and Minerals & Export Corporation. – VNA
