China Steel: in talks on stake in Vietnam steel plant

Taiwan’s China Steel plans to buy a stake of no more than 10 percent in a steel plant in Vietnam owned by Formosa Plastics it said on Monday.

The plan will give China Steel access to products that it does not make itself, the company said. The plan is expected to be put to China Steel’s board at the end of the month.
