Cement producer gains Jan-April profit of 17.86b dong

The northern bourse-listed Sai Son Cement Joint Stock Co (coded SCJ) reported earning pre-tax profit and after tax profit in the first four months of 2010 of 17.86 billion dong and 13.39 billion dong respectively.

In April, the company’s total gained revenue was estimated at about 25.6 billion dong, bringing in after tax profit of 4.5 billion dong.

In the first four months, the cement firm has produced and traded 125,519 tonnes of cement, equal to accumulative net revenue of 90.63 billion dong, and after tax profit of 13.39 billion dong, fulfilling about 30 percent of the year plan.
