Car sales up 23pct in Apr
Vietnam Automobile Manufacturers Association (VAMA) has recently reported that in April, Vietnam’s domestic car sales reached 9,551 units, up 23 percent from last April.
Of which, general-purpose cars, tourism cars and commercial cars increased 75 percent, 8 percent and 19 percent respectively.
Totally, in Jan-Apr, the country’s car sales saw a rise of 5 percent year-on-year, of which, tourism car and commercial car increased 53 percent and 5 percent respectively whereas general-purpose cars decreased 27 percent year-on-year.
