Can Tho to open more flight routes

Can Tho International Airport will open more international flights linking it with airports in Singapore, Thailand and Taiwan in the near future, according to Nguyen Khanh Tung, director of Can Tho’s Tourism, Trade and Investment Promotion Centre.

Flights linking the Mekong Delta city with Da Nang, Con Dao island in Ba Ria–Vung Tau Province and Lien Khuong Airport in Da Lat will be opened soon. Can Tho Airport began operation in 2009. The new international and domestic flights are expected to attract more tourists to Can Tho. Can Tho receives about 970,000 visitors each year.
