Businesses to take part in VN-China Border Trade Fair
Between 200 and 250 Vietnamese businesses will take part in the 2010 Vietnam-China Border Trade Fair to be held in Hekou, China from November 26-30.
The trade fair, dubbed “Trade-Investment-Exchange-Cooperationâ€, will have 800-1,000 stands displaying agriculture and aquaculture products, machinery, natural materials, chemicals, building materials, electronics, housewares, garments and textiles, furniture, handicraft, and other services to promote trade, tourism and investment.
Le Tien Dung, director of the Lao Cai Trade Promotion Centre said the fair offers an opportunity for Vietnamese businesses to introduce their products, expand their markets, and seek new partners in Yunnan province.
This is the 10th Vietnam-China Border Trade Fair and the largest one in the past 10 years.
The Chinese partners will send staff to work with the Lao Cai Trade Promotion Centre and meet with the Departments of Industry and Trade in 11 northern Vietnamese provinces to promote the fair.
The event marks the 60 anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties between Vietnam and China. – VOV
