Businesses to promote consistency, transparency

How to build consistency and transparency in business was discussed at a workshop in Ho Chi Minh City on August 27.

The workshop was organised by the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) in coordination with the network Global Compact Vietnam.

Attending the event were representatives of domestic and foreign businesses, non-governmental organisations, and business associations.

Delegates focused on sharing experience, fighting corruption, and discussing legal issues, opportunities, and challenges for businesses trying to build a more transparent business environment.

Dr. Doan Duy Khuong, VCCI Vice Chairman said the business community must cooperate with the government, social organisations, and international societies to improve business practices and reduce corruption. – VOV
