Businesses to attend 2010 China-Vietnam Border Trade Fair

As many as 62 Vietnamese businesses with 250 stands will take part in the 2010 China-Vietnam Border Trade Fair in Yunnan, China from November 26-30.

The fair will feature a conference on trade promotion on November 29 to attract investment to Lao Cai and He Kou and hold the signing ceremonies of economic contracts between Vietnamese and Chinese investors.

150 representatives, investors and businesses will take part in the conference to introduce preferential conditions in policies and specific projects.

Tens of US$ multi-million contracts are expected to be signed at the fair, an increase of 15 percent over the previous fair in KimThanh commercial zone, Lao Cai province, Vietnam in 2009.

In the last fair, 14 contracts worth nearly US$114 million in the fields of mineral import and export, fertiliser, machines and forestry products were signed. – VOV
