BTC estimates to reach whole year profit of over 2b dong, down 34pct y-o-y

The UPCoM-listed Binh Trieu Mechanics and Construction Joint Stock Co (coded BTC) announced to achieve total after tax profit of over 2 billion dong, declining by 34 percent year-on-year due to sharp slump in profit from the company’s financial activities.



According to the audited financial reports, BTC estimated to gain total revenue of 46.2 billion dong, and combined profit of 8.4 billion dong, about 2 billion dong higher than that of 2009.



However, the company’s financial activities brought in loss of 293 million dong and the enterprise management costs accounted for 6.6 billion dong, resulting in a year-on-year drop of 34 percent in after tax profit to 2.11 billion dong only, equivalent to EPS of 1,593 dong.
