Bosch invests in building software and technology centre in HCM City

Germany-based Bosch Group will invest in building a software and technology centre in HCM City based on expanding the operation of Robert Bosch Engineering and Business Solution Co Ltd in India, Vo Quang Hue, General director of Robert Bosch Vietnam Co announced yesterday.

The new centre will mainly operate in producing embedded software products as well as providing products and technological solutions. The centre is expected to start operation in this August with the workforce of about 20 engineers and experts. Up to 2015, there will be about 500 experts and engineers working there.

It is the first time that Bosch Group has decided to make investment in this field in Southeast Asian region. The group has chosen HCM City as its destination because the city has well-developed IT infrastructure facilities with large potentials of supply of high-quality manpower.
