BlackBerry services launched in Vietnam

Vietnamese mobile operator MobiFone and Research In Motion (RIM) RIMM announced on Monday the launch of BlackBerry services for MobiFone customers in Vietnam.
No financial details were disclosed.

According to RIM the BlackBerry services will enable customers to leverage RIM’s mobile communications solution, as well as a wide range of other mobile business and lifestyle applications available on BlackBerry App World.

The services are officially available from MobiFone starting on Monday and can be accessed by any customer with a BlackBerry smartphone, including models such as the BlackBerry Bold 9780, BlackBerry Torch 9800 and BlackBerry Curve 9300.

The operator will offer BlackBerry Internet Service for small businesses and individual users and BlackBerry Enterprise Server for corporate customers.
