Binh Phuoc to build waste power plant

People’s Committee of the southern province of Binh Phuoc has signed off on a proposal by Suc Song Xanh Ltd Co to build a waste-to-power treatment plant using the world’s most advanced plasma gasification technology in the province.

The company said the plant with an estimated capacity of 500 tonnes per day and total investment of about $60 million and a lifespan of 25 years to 2037 will produce 124 million kWh of electricity per year. The return on investment is expected within six years.
