Binh Phuoc, Mozambique cooperate in growing rubber trees
A Mozambique delegation led by General Secretary of the Mozambique Liberation Front Party, Filipe Chimoio Paunde, paid a working visit to the southern province of Binh Phuoc on June 20.
Nguyen Tan Hung, member of the Party Central Committee and Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee briefed his guests on the province’s socio-economic situation over the past years, and emphasized its advantages of growing commercial crops, especially rubber trees.
He said Binh Phuoc has crossbred high-quality varieties of rubber and its experienced engineers and farmers can help Mozambique cultivate this kind of commercial crops on its own soil.
Mr Filipe also talked about Mozambique’s socio-economic development achievements, highlighted similarities in growing rubber trees in both countries, and shared experiences in crossbreeding high quality varieties.
He expressed his wish that companies in Binh Phuoc will cooperate in providing varieties and expertise technical experts as well as establishing Vietnamese rubber companies in Mozambique.
Both sides have also agreed on some cooperative programmes in the coming time, and pledged to create the best conditions for enterprises in Mozambique.
