BIDV IPO shares averaged at 18,583 dong
The Hanoi Stock Exchange this afternoon December 29 announced the results of the initial public offering (IPO) of the Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam (BIDV).
Accordingly, 84,754,146 shares of BIDV’s IPO were bought up with the average auction price at 18,583 dong/share, higher than the starting price of 83 dong/share.
Specifically, there were 16,238 investors participating in the auction, including 129 organizations and 16,109 individuals.
The total amount of the share subscription was 140,875,100 shares.
The highest price was 35,000 dong/share and the lowest, 18,500 dong/share.
Of the total 16,197 subscribers won the action, there were some 128 institutions and 16,069 individuals.
The whole number of shares to be offered up for auction was sold out to achieve 1.575 trillion dong. It is reported that 40% of the shares were bought by employees of BIDV.
The winners of the auction will pay for the purchase of BIDV’s shares from December 29, 2011 to 4:00 p.m January 13, 2012. – Vietbiz24
