Bao Minh Insurer expects to gain 200b dong in after tax profit
Bao Minh Insurance Joint Stock Corp (BMI) set targets for 2011 business plan with expected after tax profit of 200 billion dong, EPS of 2,650 dong and dividend payment at 15 percent.
The insurance firm aimed to reach total revenue of 2.661 trillion dong in 2011, a year-on-year increase of 11 percent, of which the original insurance premium would count for 2.155 trillion dong, re-insurance of 190 billion dong and other financial activities of 316 billion dong.
In 2011-2015 period, the insurer expected to gain annual growth in insurance premium at 14-15 percent per year, and to reach 4.1-4.2 trillion dong in 2015.
Last year, the company’s total revenue was posted at 2.389 trillion dong, surpassing the targeted year plan by 2.5 percent, and pre-tax profit of 194 billion dong, or 2.3 percent. The corporation expected to pay dividend at 15 percent.
In related news, the company has lately released the combined financial reports in 2010, in which BMI’s audited after tax profit increased by 37 billion dong to 181 billion dong, thanks to an increase in financial profit of 47 billion dong.
