Banks syndicate 400b dong for Phu Quy wind power plant
PetroVietnam Power Corp (PV Power) and two partner banks namely Ocean Commercial Joint Stock Bank (OceanBank) and HSBC Vietnam have recently signed a contract to arrange nearly 400 billion dong for Phu Quy wind power plant in the central province of Binh Thuan.
The wind power plant with three wind turbines and total designed capacity of 6MW for the first phase is built in two communes of Long Hai and Ngu Phung, Phu Quy Dist, Binh Thuan Province. PetroVietnam Power Corp is the main investor for this project together with EPC contractors of Vietnam Electronics and Informatics Corp (VEIC), Viettronics Construction JSC (VIETCT) and Amec Technologies Joint Stock Co.
Once in operational, the plant is expected to produce annual power output of 25.391 million KWh, making contribution to the economic development progress in the region and ensuring the national energy security.
This 7-year term credit contract between PV Power and HSBC Vietnam with the favorable credit conditions will contribute to ensuring the success of the project. – Vietbiz24
