Aug 9: foreigners turn to net buy on both two bourses

Foreigners changed to net buy on both two official bourses today as they heavily loaded STB shares and were active in the put-through deals.

On the Vietnamese biggest exchange, HOSE, foreigners net bought VND87.52 billion worth of shares after buying 7,564,403 shares for VND144.1 billion and sold 1,833,580 shares for VND56.58 billion, accounting for 21.69% buying value and 8.51% selling value.

Foreigners’ top net selling shares were VIC (-VND4.4 billion) today. Other most offloaded shares were DPM (VND3.4 billion), GMD(VND3.1 billion), SSI(VND2.8 billion), HPG (VND1.5 billion).

Foreigners most actively bought into STB(81.08 billion), FPT (VND6.1 billion), PVD(VND3.9 billion), CTG(VND3.0 billion), VCB (VND2.93 billion).

Of note, they came back to be net buyers of FPT shares today.

On the Hanoi Stock Exchange, these foreign players net bought VND169.43 million worth of shares after buying 347,400 shares for VND4.34 billion and selling 349,600 shares for VND4.17 billion accounting for 1.13% buying value and 1.08% selling value. Their buying interest fell sharply today.

They actively bought into BVS, PGS, ICG, NTP, and PVS while their active offloaded were KLS, VCG, PVG, CTN, and PVI. -Stoxplus.com
