$50m drink bottling plant to come up Binh Duong

Binh Duong provincial People’s Committee on March 2 granted the investment certificate to TBC Ball Beverage Can Vietnam to invest $50 million drink bottling plant.

The project, invested by TBC-Ball Beverage Can Holding Limited (Hong Kong), will be built on a 8-hectare site in Vietnam-Singapore Industrial Park II, Tan Uyen Dist, Binh Duong province. It will come into operation by 2012 with a designed capacity of 850 million cans a year.

In the first two months, VSIP attracted $150 million in investment capital, including four FDI projects with a registered capital of $60.5 million and an increase of $85 million in operational projects.
