$4.5b invested in Mui Dinh high-class tourism area

Ninh Thuan province Department of Planning and Investment has lately sought for approval from Ministry of Construction for establishing the Polo Beach International Co Ltd.

After consideration, ministry of construction has issued document No 1588/BXD-HDXD in which the ministry agreed to grant the investment license for Mui Dinh high-class tourism area project.

The new tourism area project will be carried out by Hong Kong-based Polo Beach International Limited as the main investor under the document No 2783/UBND-TH dated June 29, 2010.

Mui Dinh tourism area is located in an area of 1,500 hectares in Ninh Thuan province. The project with total investment capital of $4.5 billion, has included various facilities such as high-end resorts, entertainment complex and villas, community services.

The investor committed to contribute chartered capital of $900 million, accounting for 20% of the total investment capital. In addition, the submitted profile includes confirmation about the company’s financial capacity from Johnson Capital Group, Inc and audited financial reports in fiscal years of 2008, 2009.
