38tr dong needed for transport development in 2011

In 2011, the capital for transport investment and development would be about 38 trillion dong, Ministry of Transport said.

Accordingly, the capital from the state budget would be about 6 trillion dong, the advanced capital of the plan for 2012 at 5 trillion dong, capital from government at 11 trillion dong and the capital from BOT projects at about 16 trillion dong.

The above capital will be used to finalise some big projects such as Gie Bridge Highway (Ninh Binh province) and National Road No 2 and 3 and start construction some other key projects such as the South Belt Road, Da Nang-Quang Ngai expressway and the linking road of Nhat Tan Bridge.
