$3.9m to hire consultant for Vietnam Airlines’ IPO
The Ministry of Transport has recently asked the government to allow Vietnam Airline Corp (Vietnam Airlines) to make specific mechanisms in the bidding process for the selection of the international financial consultant for its initial public offering (IPO).
Vietnam Airlines has made a preliminary offering with eight international banks that have expressed the interest letter and suggested the total bidding package value at nearly $3.9 million.
Qualified bidders in the bidding list are Merrill Lynch, Citigroup, USB, JPMorgan, RBS-ABN-AMRO, Morgan Stanley, and Calyon&Credit.
The bidding to hire international finance consultants is only the first stage for the equitisation process of Vietnam Airlines, it is not an investment project. – Vietbiz24
