$20Mln invested in automobile spare parts factory

Sumidenso Vietnam 4 Factory, under Sumidenso Vietnam Co. Ltd, with a total investment of US$20 million

Sumidenso Vietnam 4 Factory, under Sumidenso Vietnam Co. Ltd, with a total investment of US$20 million, began construction in Nghia An industrial zone, Ninh Giang district, Hai Duong province on November 16.

Covering an area of 4.5 hectares, the factory will specialise in producing electronic equipment and spare parts for automobiles. The high-tech factory is scheduled to be put into operation by late 2011.

It’s expected to create jobs for 1,700 labourers.

So far, Sumidenso Vietnam Co. Ltd has invested in four factories in Hai Duong province, three of which have been put into operation and provide jobs for 6,500 workers.

The company is expected to achieve a turnover of US$234 million by the end of this year.- VOV
