200 enterprises to attend 2010 Vietnam Telecom

The 13th Telecom/Electronics – Internet & IT exhibition will be held at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Centre in Ho Chi Minh City from November 17-20.

This year’s exhibition will have a displaying area of nearly 9,000m2, with more than 200 enterprises.

The organizing board will include Information and Technology (IT) to meet with this year’s title “Looking toward the era of integrity” and to develop technologies in information and telecommunications as well as radio and television broadcasting.

They will also present some new services in the exhibition including improved broadband networks, integrity among telecommunications, television and internet and between telephone and mobile services, customer care and system management.

The exhibition will feature electronic products, socio-economic applicant software,

3G mobile phone, value added software, online education, e-government and tele –education among other modern innovations.

As part of the exhibition, a conference, focusing on problems like 3G services, Wimax, broadband networks and electronic entertainment and multimedia, will be held.

The exhibition is expected to provide an excellent chance for businesses to seek partners working in the telecommunication, information technology, the internet and electronic industries.

This year, Vietnam ranks 15th in the Networked Readiness Index, conducted by the World Economic Forum.
