2.37tr dong for East-West Avenue

The Ministry of Transport has given approval for connecting road construction investment between East-West Avenue and Hochiminh city – Trung Luong expressway with total cost of 2.371 trillion dong, of which 1.346 trillion dong erection one, 482 billion compensation and evacuation one, the rest for other costs.

Accordingly, the road will connect the intersection between National Road No 1A and East-West Avenue to that of Tan Kien (Tan Dao – Cho Dem market) with the length of 2.7 kilometres.

There will have two overpasses to be built in Tan Kien intersection and an asterisk road in that of National Road No 1A and East-West Avenue. The project will have more two new bridges: Hung Nhon and Cai Trung.

The money for the construction investment will come from budget capital and public bond issuance.

As planned, the work will be finished within three years of construction. – Tuoitre
