146b irrigation project officially put into operation

Quang Nam province Department of Agriculture and Rural Development held the opening ceremony and put into operation Dong Tien irrigation project in Thang Binh Dist, Quang Nam province with designed capacity of 7.6 million cubic metres on May 19, 2010.
The construction was started two years ago with total investment costs of 146 billion dong.

Once operation, the irrigation work helps supply water for 750 hectares for agricultural land as well as fresh water for local people living in three communes of Binh Tri, Binh Dinh Bac and Binh Dinh Nam, Thang Binh Dist, Quang Nam province.
