Yahoo launches digital news-stand for browsers

Yahoo this week launched its Livestand, a digital news-stand that continually offers new content to browsers based on their interests.

Launching first for tablets, Livestand would enable publishers and advertisers to seamlessly distribute content across tablets and mobile phones, said Yahoo officials.

The launch was made during its annual Asia-Pacific Client Summit in Ha Noi.

Yahoo recently signed a partnership with Q-Mobile, a domestic manufacturer of mobile handsets in Viet Nam.
