Workshop on new construction equipment and technology

The Department of Construction Materials under the Ministry of Construction recently collaborated with IEC Vietnam Joint Stock Company to host a workshop titled “Applying new materials, equipment and technology to construction projects to ensure safety, environment, energy saving and reasonable cost.”

Distinguished attendants included Mr Pham Van Bac, Deputy Director of Construction Materials Department, Mr Le Van Nam, vice rector of Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology, and construction material researchers, producers and traders.

Speakers presented solutions for new construction material applications in construction, and introduced the Prime Minister’s Decision No. 567/QD-TTg dated April 28, 2010 on the unburned materials development programme until 2020. Equipment and technology suppliers introduced new industry and materials meeting environment, safety and economic requirements.-VCCI
