VTC plans to invest 800b dong in EVN Telecom

Vietnam Multimedia Corporation or VTC plans to invest 800 billion dong in EVN Telecom after setting up cooperation with the local telecom firm, according to a VTC source.

On April 13, EVN Telecom, FPT and VTC met to discuss issues on investment capital contribution in EVN Telecom.

At the meeting, VTC will negotiate to reach a deal to acquire stake of EVN Telecom with total investment capital of 800 billion dong. This is the amount of money FPT deposited for EVN Telecom, equaling to 12% stake of EVN Telecom. The project has not yet been submitted to Ministry of Information and Communication. – Vieitbiz24
