Vietnam’s top ten powerful consumer trademarks released

Basing on the criteria of number of brand users, Nielsen Vietnam has recently released a list of Vietnam’s top ten powerful consumer trademarks.

Accordingly, Honda ranks at the first with the motorcycle market of about 20 million users, the Honda brand is always the first choice for Vietnamese consumers.

Ranking at the second is a mobile phone brand, Nokia. The Finnish brand continued to gain the sympathy of Vietnamese consumers despite the Vietnam’s market is now being flooded by “hot” brand names such as iPhone, Blackberry, HTC, Samsung, and Q mobile.
Big-C ranks the third and then MobiFone, Vietcombank, Saigon Co.opMart, Viettel, Sony, Vinamilk and Coca-Cola.

In an interview on December 13, Singapore-based Campaign Magazine, Executive director of Nielsen Vietnam, Darin Williams, evaluate consumer market of Vietnam in next 10 years will be extremely encouraging. The income per capita of Vietnamese people is increasing more and more, they are willing to pay for many different goods and services such as health, beauty and electronic products. – SGGP
