Vietnamese Industrial Mineral conference held in Hanoi

200 delegates from 11 countries attended the Vietnamese Industrial Mineral Conference in Hanoi on June 28.

The conference offered a good opportunity for international scientists and investors to learn more about Vietnam’s mineral potential, thereby improving the effectiveness of their investment in industrial mineral.

Addressing the event, Deputy Minister of Natural Resources and Environment Nguyen Linh Ngoc said that though Vietnam has various minerals such as volfram, lead, zinc, limestone, iron, and apatite, they have not been effectively exploited.

Vietnam hopes foreign scientists and investors will introduce advanced technology to help exploit these mineral more effectively and minimize the risk of environmental pollution, Ngoc said.

Experts contributed many ideas developing the sector and proposed issuing new policies to attract foreign investors. – VOV
