Vietnamese culture introduced in Japan

Vietnamese students at Asia-Pacific University (APU) in Japan introduced their national cultural identity during Vietnam Culture Week from June 14-18.

The students organised several cultural activities and art performances, including a fashion show of Vietnamese women’s traditional long dress (Ao Dai), folk singing, drama, a photo exhibition and a culinary festival.

The event was organised to help international friends at APU gain a better understanding of Vietnam’s traditional culture.

Vietnam currently ranks fourth in the number of students at APU.
