Vietnam to raise imported fertilizers tax by 6.5%

Ministry of Finance (MoF) has issued a circular on increasing tax on imported fertilizers to 6.5%.

MoF raises some categories of underlying taxed fertilizers at 6.5%, up 1.5% from earlier after having agreements with Ministry of Industry and Trade and Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development.

In details, fertilizers applied new duties comprises of mineral fertilizer or chemical fertilizer which contains phosphate; superphosphate in package or superphosphate …; mineral fertilizer or chemical one containing nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium.
