Vietnam Telecom 2010 to showcase new products

The 13th International Exhibition in Vietnam on Telecommunications and Information Technology will take place at Sai Gon Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC) in Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC) from 17th-20th November 2010.

The Vietnam Telecom and Vietnam Electronics trade fairs are the biggest and most renowned telecommunications, information technology and electronics event in Vietnam. The presentation of internet and information technology at this year’s fair will not only increase the scope of the exhibition but also highlight the increasing convergence in information and technology communications (ICT) and the electronics sector

Since the first event 1992, the Vietnam Telecom and Vietnam Electronics trade fair received extensive support from local and overseas organizations, businesses, operators, providers, manufacturers and consumers. With 3G launched and increasing demand of customers for entertainment via the internet and connection possibilities, large service operators/providers in Vietnam and renowned brand names such as Vinaphone, EVN Telecom, HTC, Huawei, Mobifone, Q-Mobile, SPT, Vietnamobile, Viettel, and VTC are looking forward to introducing their latest products to customers.

Many activities will be held and awards will be given for customers.

Mobile phone producer HTC will exhibit its latest models at the exhibition. HTC Vietnam will sponsor the lucky draw presentation with the latest Aria and Smart HTC mobile models, which will draw visitors’ attraction during the exhibition.

Huawei, the leading provider on new generation telecommunications will present a series of new smart phones and mobile phones. It will also sponsor a mobile phone fashion show and a lucky draw that will enable visitors to win their products.

To create pleasant environment and attract visitors to the fair, the organizer will promote product introduction programs. Photo corners and games with gifts are available in the fair. In addition, lucky visitors could take home HTC Aria and Smart mobile phones, Zippo lighters, 1 GB USBs and other surprise gifts. There will be prizes for the best designed stall, the most interactive stall and the most popular stall selected by the Press. Visitors and the press will be able to take part in the judging.

With 9,000sq.m exhibition area, the trade fair is expected to attract more than 200 businesses and groups from 13 countries and territories including Australia, France, Germany, Hong Kong, India, Japan, Malaysia, China, Singapore, Chinese Taipei, the UK, the US and Vietnam. Renowned international exhibitors include NTT DOCOMO, AMDOCS & ZTE, Orange, IBM, Nokia Siemens Networks and PCCW Global.

The main sponsors of the fair are the National Steering Committee on ICT and the Ministry of Information and Communications (MIC). The fair is jointly held by Information and Public Relation Centre of Vietnam Posts & Telecommunications Group (IPC-VNPT), Vietnam Association for Information Processing and Adsale Exhibition Services Ltd. – VEN
